It’s easy to see ourselves at the center of everything, to always be looking out for number one. Every decision we make, every dream we hold onto, it’s all just about ourselves, about getting something in return, but it doesn’t have to be. Turning that perspective on its head and focusing on other people is a powerful engine for success. Reorienting your goals towards making this world a better place for everyone will transform your energy and empower your actions in a way you might never have imagined before.
Like Chris Naugle says, “It’s like flying an airplane with a perpetual tailwind.”
Chris knows what happens when everything becomes about what we get for ourselves, and how much we can get out of other people. We might find some success in one moment, amass a bunch of money and material wealth, but we can lose it just as easily because it’s not built on a strong foundation. Think about it – money comes and goes, that’s how it works. We get it with the intention of spending it, holding onto it is only temporary. But working to help others builds something that can last a lifetime. Relationships based on trust, mutual support, love, and wisdom.
So dream of a better world. A more loving world, where people can develop their full potential. Then go out there and make it happen. Success will come, but you might not even notice.
